I grew up in the southwest and presently live in Idaho. Earlier in life, I almost exclusively read fantasy novels but have since broadened my horizon and enjoy many genres, both fiction and nonfiction. I’ve wanted to write a book for a long time but never really had any ideas. Then, one random day, when I least expected it, I had an inkling and started writing. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and entertaining my exuberant dog Pearl (or the Black Pearl when she is naughty, and yes, she is black). I also enjoy a good beer. I occasionally brew it as well, but I’m not nearly as good as Yolken.

I just flew with Justin Chan, he was reading your book. I just started it and wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying it.
I have been reading fantasy novels my entire life and “Blessed of the Dragon” ranks up there with the best of them! I put you on par with Patrick Rothfuss and “The name of the wind”!
Keep writing, I look forward to reading the rest of the series and will be looking forward to what comes next.
